Overcast users can connect to the platform from anywhere over standard browsers using a smartphone, tablet or desktop.
Overcast supports the storage of almost all file formats. For preview, Overcast supports most document file formats, more than 200 video file formats, more than 1,000 CCTV file formats and all standard audio and image file formats.
Standard proxy previews for video are 480p. On request, proxies can be generated in Semi HD and Full HD.
Overcast organises storage in AWS S3. If you choose to bring your own storage and/or sync on-premise storage with Overcast, please speak to your Customer Representative about integrating the storage solutions.
