File Formats – Kinesense LE

Kinesense LE file format analysis can be performed on premise (as installed software) or in cloud integrated with the Overcast platform. 

It automatically imports a variety of standard and proprietary formats including but not limited to the following:

• .avi
• .mpg
• .mpeg
• .wmv
• .mov
• .flv
• .mkv
• .mp4
• .vob
• .xba
• .h264
• .asf
• .sdr2
• .sec
• .raw
• .dav
• .rms
• .csx
• .264
• .ts
• .mts

All formats that can be played on Windows Media Player, VLC and FFMpeg are supported. It is possible to install other codecs on the machine to use them.

Kinesense has special integrations with recorder devices:

• Ovation Afterburner
• Ovation Flashback ⅔
• Covidence Oculus
• Viola H264
• Micron Seorin SDR2
• Acustek 
• VMS integration with Milestone and Genetec are also available. 

Kinesense LE can also use screen capture to capture a video playing in an external player. The Kinesense library has over 850 players which are stored in a virtualised way.
