Standard storage means that files are stored in AWS S3 in a nearline bucket for easy and fast access.

Archive storage in Glacier and Deep Glacier is arranged according to rules that you set and discuss with your Customer Representative.

Bring Your Own Storage is possible with AWS as well as other Cloud Service Providers. To see if your CSP is supported, please discuss with your Customer Representative.

If you are syncing storage with on-premise storage (NAS) then an internet connection is required. Rules are set-up by the storage owner and single or 2-way sync can be implemented.  

The speed of the sync is dependent on the content owners bandwidth connection.
