In 2016, as a mere idea and a couple of slides on a pitch deck, Overcast was awarded €50k by Enterprise Ireland’s Competitive Start Fund and later in the same year was awarded the Best Pitch at Ireland’s Sprint Accelerator. Other accelerators that back Overcast in the early days include Amazon Activate and Microsoft Bizspark.
