# File Formats – Kinesense LE

**Kinesense LE** file format analysis can be performed on premise *(as installed software)* or in cloud integrated with the **Overcast platform**. 

**It automatically imports a variety of standard and proprietary formats including but not limited to the following:**

- .avi
- .mpg
- .mpeg
- .wmv
- .mov
- .flv
- .mkv
- .mp4
- .vob
- .xba
- .h264
- .asf
- .sdr2
- .sec
- .raw
- .dav
- .rms
- .csx
- .264
- .ts
- .mts

All formats that can be played on Windows Media Player, VLC and FFMpeg are supported. It is possible to install other codecs on the machine to use them.

**Kinesense has special integrations with recorder devices:**

- Timespace x200/x300/x400
- Ovation Afterburner
- Ovation Flashback ⅔
- Covidence Oculus
- Viola H264
- Micron Seorin SDR2
- Acustek 
- VMS integration with Milestone and Genetec are also available. 

Kinesense LE can also use screen capture to capture a video playing in an external player. The Kinesense library has over 850 players which are stored in a virtualised way.
