# Change speed of video asset

1. From the assets page, click the asset you’d like to view. 
2. Press play. A menu will appear below the video.
3. Hover over **“1x”.** A menu appears with different timing options.
4. Click**“0.1x”** or**“0.5x”** to slow down the video asset or click**“1.5x”** or**“2x”** to speed it up.
